Google Sync and Snow Leopard

Having gone back to Mac OS X on my Mac I have actually rediscovered what was so good about the Mac operating system. The first one was after installation, no driver install disks or setup it was all on the OS disk. Two CDs later and I have Office 2008 and iLife ‘09 installed and updated. All of my files have now been transferred back over and iTunes is now downloading some new programmes.

Using the system is a lot simpler than using Windows, although it is on the verge of too simple. But I am happier knowing that the system is more secure in reference to virus’ attacks. Though before anyone jumps at me about that one it does have something to do with the fact that Macs have a smaller exposure to the internet than Windows.

That’s not to say that I am turning my back on Windows, but I think that I own a MacBook Pro so I will run Mac OS X on it, to that end I think that I will buy a Dell Studio 15 laptop with Windows 7, but I will wait until next year when Windows 7 has approached Service Pack 1 and has matured out in the open for a good six months.
